Product Specialist

  • IT/IS Bachelor’s degree or equivaent

  • Solid software sales experience in a technology or services environment (1-2 years)

  • Negotiation Skill, Solution Selling/SPIN skills

  • Basic knowledge of CRM, Business Intelligence, Database will become value added

Responsibilities

  • The Product Specialist role is a quota-bearing sales persona and the purpose is to primarily pursue and land qualified leads identified. The Product Specialist will identify new opportunities from a selection of existing accounts or new account, present solutions, value propositions, partner configurations, cost structures and revenue models to the client that meet their needs

  • A substantial amount of time will be spent on engaged selling or supporting the sales process in partnership with Client Representative. Contribute to the pre-sales process by working with pre-sales architects to create the best solution design for the client

  • Building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with new and existing clients, whilst developing new business channels and territories will be a core focus of this role

Product Nutanix

  • Develop, maintain and manage on revenue target.

  • Schedule  pipeline reviews with internal teams / principals.

  • Maintain, update and ensure Deal Registration status of opportunities from named/non-named end user accounts.

  • Responsible for initial qualification of leads either from cold calls, inbound enquiries or partner referrals.

  • Independently present vendor’s solution to partners and end users during the meeting.

  • Qualify need for POC, coordinate and arrange demo unit, pre-sales resource.

  • Coordinate identification and development of assigned vendors’ Focus Partners.

  • Coordinate and co-deliver updates and training to partners.

  • Maintain good relations with distributors & principals.

  • Collaborate with sales team to selling the focus product

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience

  • Have experience at account management or product management min. 2years.

  • Relevant experience with Nutanix Product will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent network with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated, results oriented, resourceful with lots of initiative.
