How to Secure Your Digital Assets from Evolving Cyber Threat is the first offline panel discussion event after pandemic held by PT Global Infotech Solution (GIS) and IBM Indonesia with the aim to identify and encounter the current cyber security challenges for industries. Event that was held on June 9th 2022, in Hotel Mulia Senayan was attended by 44 Participants from 27 Companies.
Event which took place in Garbera Room was begun with opening speech by the Commercial Director of PT Global Infotech Solution, Yopi Doris. After a very warm and insightful speech, the event was continued with an opening session by our moderator, Ibnu Dwi Cahyo from InfoKomputer. The first session was led by Lee Kian Chong, the CEO of Cyberlitmus, a member of the Cyber Security Singapore as well as Managing Director of Boston Business School Singapore. Then, the second session was continued by Chandra Chen as Advisor Security Technical Specialist IBM Indonesia. Before the panel discussion and Q&A, the last session was closed by Kelvin Pratama, the Brand Partner Specialist IBM Indonesia.
The are some interesting points of this discussion. The first one is the importance of intelligent detect and response system that able to report a contextual and fatal cyber attacks. Another point is the importance of Data Recovery System to minimize the risk of cyber attack such as Ransomware. These two needs can be answered by IBM Solutions, IBM QRadar and IBM FlashSystem. IBM QRadar capable to analyze evolving threat and activate automated investigation as well as to report priority and fatal threat that needs follow up. IBM FlashSystem has Safeguarded Copy function provides backup copies to recover data in case of logical corruption or destruction of primary data. It also has Cyber Fault function provides identification Ransomware to minimize the attacks.
At the end of the event, all of the attendees had a lunch break and were given a souvenir from PT Global Infotech Solution partnering with IBM Indonesia.
